The Journal of the American Geriatrics Society (JAGS) published a study called Setting Personal Goals For Dementia Care where participants from the UCLA Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care (ADC) program provided real-world feedback about goal setting for both patients and caregivers.
The study participants were required to have a diagnosis of dementia and to have a family member or friend serving as a caregiver who also was willing to participate in the study.
